Help us deliver hope to patients.
By registering for Community Days, you’re becoming part of our largest volunteer event of the year. Together with colleagues across the U.S. and Canada, we’ll make a difference for cancer patients in our communities.
By volunteering at Community Days, you’re helping patients in two important ways:
- Gift of a Care Package – Small gestures bring hope to people with cancer. That’s why you’ll create care packages that reach patients through Giving Comfort, our McKesson Foundation program.
- Gift of Services – When you sign up, the McKesson Foundation gives $10 to Adena Cancer Center, our local Cancer Care Community Partner. Adena Cancer Center provides care to Ohio communities through leading-edge treatments delivered with a personal touch. Programs like patient navigators and support groups reflect their focus on the patient. They sponsor the Adena Foundation Cancer Fund, which helps patients in need with services like gas vouchers and help with copays. Adena also offers free cancer screenings for local residents – so they can increase the chance of finding cancer in earlier, more treatable stages.
When you sign up, you also support the team challenge for more grants to cancer nonprofits.
